Harvesting green art

A dozen young adult artists will showcase new works at Harvest Art Fest: The Green Art Show on Friday, Sept. 21 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Village Park Centre. The outdoor showcase will exhibit paintings, collage, clothing, sculpture and live art.

A dozen young adult artists will showcase new works at Harvest Art Fest: The Green Art Show on Friday, Sept. 21 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Village Park Centre.

The outdoor showcase will exhibit paintings, collage, clothing, sculpture and live art. All artworks are made from environmentally friendly materials, mediums or messaging.

Audiences will vote for Best of Show with the winner receiving $500 in art supplies and enrolment in the EcoArt course at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design.

The LUNA event is presented in partnership with the Whistler Arts Council and B.C. Arts Council. Admission is free. Voting is a suggested $2 donation.
