The League Crew founder splits his time between being the official DJ of the Cavaliers, producing the weekly program League Crew Radio on Sirius Satellite Radio, and, most notably, producing the most successful mixtapes out of the Midwest.

He’s so successful artists such as 50 Cent, Eminem, Busta Rhymes, Ghostface and Kanye West have sought out his talents for their artist albums, including King of The Remixes Mixtape with Busta Rhymes, Superman Returns with Jay-Z and Pre-Up with 50 Cent.

“This time (Jay-Z) is better than ever,” wrote one Hip Hop magazine critique about Superman Returns. “Boogie’s mixes set this mixtape apart and take you back to your first Jay-Z concert.”

Mick Boogie is used to keeping company with big names. He teamed with RBK/Reebok to produce mixtapes. Other shoe hawkers/rappers for the company include Lil’ Wayne, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Lupe Fiasco and Pharrell.

He loves all sides of his creative talents equally. They all contribute to making Mick Boogie what he is: the product of growing up in a household where everything from classic soul and Motown to polka and rock was played. This passion for music moved past piano lessons and into a love of hip-hop music that seemed to merge all music genres.

His broad crossover of music interests translates to a unique mix of contemporary hip hop, old school classics, pop music and even rock sets that have captivated crowds all over the world, including events in New York, Montreal, Miami, Las Vegas, Puerto Rico and Europe.

He will soon add Whistler to his growing travel list. The NBA DJ joins Whistler’s DJ Neoteric for a one-night-only show Friday, Sept. 21 at Moe Joe’s.

Advance $10 tickets are now on sale.
