In an article in last week’s Pique a quote from Myrtle Philip parent Suzanne Thomas should have read, “I think we want to know what parents think,” in reference to the Parent Advisory Council’s decision to conduct a survey on closing Whistler schools for the Olympic Games.

The Spring Creek PAC has also changed its meeting time to the third Wednesday of every month, making the next meeting Oct. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the school.

In last week’s story that July’s Pinnacle Ridge fire was deliberately set, a damage estimate of $2 million to $3 million was attributed to property manager Trevor Renard. In fact, work to repair the damage has gone to tender and Renard did not give an estimate. As well, there are 44 units in Pinnacle Ridge and the average price for a unit is approximately $2 million.
