What: COFFEE SHOP OPENING Pemberton’s newest specialty coffee shop is having a grand opening to celebrate the love for coffee and all things local. Local artists, live music, finger food, coffee, wine, and beer will be available for the festivities. All are welcome.

When: Saturday November 3, 6 – 9 p.m.

What: SONGS OF WAR AND PEACE The Whistler Children’s Choir, the Whistler Youth Choir, and the Whistler Singers are joining forces to present this choir fundraiser. All proceeds go towards the Stephen Lewis Foundation. Admission by donation.

What: DOCUMENTARY SCREENING Reel Alternatives presents the award-winning film Shake Hands with the Devil . This documentary depicts the struggles of Canadian Lieutenant General Romeo Dallaire during the 1994 Rwandan genocide. Tickets are $8.50/$6.50 for Whistler Film Society members.

What: TILE AND CERAMIC ART DEMONSTRATION Drop in and watch artist Penny Eder-Martyn in action every Thursday as she works on her tile projects and paintings. What: DANCING DANCERS The Vancouver-based dance group know as the Dancing Dancers is coming to Squamish this November as part of their Made in BC dance tour.
