What: NORDIC SPORTS DAY Learn about Nordic Sports, the status of the Whistler Nordic Competition Venue, and cross-country skiing opportunities in the Sea to Sky corridor at this afternoon event. What: BEAR AWARE WEEK Come out to the first Bear Aware Week to promote bear awareness, safety, and education. Join bear researcher Charlie Russell in person as he screens his documentary “Learning from Bears” on Wednesday. A Bear Aware Party will also be held at Black’s Pub on Thursday. What: FILM SCREENING “Early Days of the Diamond Head Chalet” is a 30-minute colour film depicting the construction of the Diamond Head Chalet in the 1940s and 1950s and subsequent exploration of the Garibaldi Park.
