The skinny on skiing

The first major storm of the season meant snow for skinny skiers from the Whistler Nordics. Callaghan Country Adventure groomed part of the road to Callaghan Lake Monday to give ski fans a November snow fix.

The first major storm of the season meant snow for skinny skiers from the Whistler Nordics. Callaghan Country Adventure groomed part of the road to Callaghan Lake Monday to give ski fans a November snow fix. The grooming started just above Alexander Falls, at about the same elevation as the Olympic venue.  The snow became too deep for the snowmobile to groom within a few kilometres. Callaghan Country hopes to get its snow cat on the trails this week, which will provide much more extensive skiing.
