The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) has started conducting its annual community life survey of residents and second homeowners.

The survey looks at the community’s priorities and opinions on local issues. Participation in anonymous and individual responses are confidential.

The RMOW will gather information by telephoning residents and second homeowners and by surveying seasonal residents at the Village, Whistler Creek and Nesters.

“We hope that our permanent and seasonal residents and second home owners will take the time to complete the surveys if they are called or approached in the village,” said the general manager of policy and program development for the municipality, Mike Vance.

“The information we gather is vital to the success of the community monitoring program, which provides quality information for decision making, increases accountability and ensures transparency.”

The survey, conducted by the Mustel Group, will run throughout February. Results will be available by late April. Last year’s results can be viewed at www.whistler2020.ca under Measuring Progress.
