Freestyle club tops in province

The Whistler Blackcomb Freestyle Club returned home from the B.C. Championships at Mount Washington this past weekend as the top club in the province with a haul of 20 medals. Mt.

The Whistler Blackcomb Freestyle Club returned home from the B.C. Championships at Mount Washington this past weekend as the top club in the province with a haul of 20 medals. Mt. Washington was second with 13 medals, as more than 100 skiers from around the province competed in moguls, dual moguls and big air.

Jae Woo Choi, 13, followed up the two gold medals he earned at the junior nationals by winning all three disciplines in his age category, and the provincial grand prix for all age groups.

Brenden Kelly, 12, won bronze medals in single and dual moguls and a gold in big air.

Mitchel Wilson, 10, won silver in single moguls and silver in big air.

Yuki Tsubota, 13, won silver in single and dual moguls.

Sophie McGregor, 11, won bronze in single moguls and big air.

Ryan Allan, 16, won gold in big air.

Dana Jensen, 17, won silver in dual moguls.

Nicola Haliwell, 15, won bronze in big air.

Simon D’Artois, 16, won bronze in big air.

Clay Renwick, 17, won bronze in single moguls.

Jake McGregor, 14, won bronze in dual moguls.

Taylor Wilson, 12, won bronze in big air.

Keltie Hicks, 16, won bronze in dual moguls.
