Travel Advisory : Spring snow conditions are prevalent on all aspects and at all elevations. There are isolated pockets of windslab in some alpine start zones.
Avalanche Activity : A multi-day melt-freeze cycle has tightened the upper snowpack. Isolated size one soft slabs formed by recent light snowfalls can be skier triggered in the alpine. Cornices and large "mushrooms" on cliff features have been falling randomly over the past week.
Snowpack : We are well into a melt-freeze cycle with all aspects and elevations affected. This surface crust is sitting above varying depths of moist snow. There are areas in the alpine with 5-7cm of loose storm snow above the crust.
Weather : A broad, cool and unstable upper trough of low pressure originating from the Yukon will bring unseasonably cool temperatures and the odd chance of a flurry to our area through the weekend.
