Whistler Forum announces five roundtables

In the wake of the Canadian election, and with a U.S. election less than two weeks away, the Whistler Forum for Dialogue is hosting five roundtable sessions to discuss recent global developments.

In the wake of the Canadian election, and with a U.S. election less than two weeks away, the Whistler Forum for Dialogue is hosting five roundtable sessions to discuss recent global developments. The sessions will be led by the Forum’s Graham Fuller, Paul Heinbecker from the Centre for International Governance, and Shauna Sylvester from Canada’s World.

The first roundtable is “A Grave New World for New Canadian and Amercian Governments,” taking place Sunday, Nov. 9 at Edgewater Lodge at 3 p.m.

The next two sessions are “Canada with U.S. President? — Implications for Canadian Foreign Policy,” and “Lest We Forget — Canada, the U.S. and NATO in Aghanistan.” Both take place on Monday, Nov. 10 at the Edgewater Lodge, starting 3 p.m.

Sessions four and five are “Canada and China — Commodities and Connections Across the Pacific” and “Canada in a Multipolar World — Priorities Moving Forward.” Both take place on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre at 1:30 p.m and 3:30 p.m. respectively.

The cost is $20 per roundtable, or $80 for all five. Space is limited to 25 people at each session.
