The Community Foundation of Whistler (CFOW) announced this week that they are giving $500 to the Support Network of Whistler (SNOW), a program for financially restricted women.

SNOW is a 16-week program run under the Whistler Community Services Society (WCSS) to help women gain new life skills and explore important issues.

Thanks to the CFOW donation, the next program will be offered this spring.

“We are thrilled at the response of the CFOW board of directors, who have demonstrated strong support for this very worthwhile program,” said Lorna Van Straaten, administrator for WCSS.

“They are helping us help individuals change their lives for the better.”
