What: CINEMA POLITICA LUNA presents a screening of "Blue Gold: World Water Wars" as part of its political film series. Water sovereignty is a hot topic these days and this film is certain to address it at length. Discussion with Pina Belperio of the Council of Canadians will follow.

What: LILLOOET RIVER VALLEY LANDSLIDE HAZARD PRESENTATION The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC presents a talk by engineer Pierre Friele about landslide hazard faced by Pemberton and Lillooet River valley residents. Optional dinner in advance of presentation costs $30 for non-members.

What: LEADERSHIP FOR RESOLVING COMMUNITY CONFLICTS The Whistler Forum for Dialogue presents Gareth Higgins, an expert on conflict resolution, who will speak to Whistler about peace building and violence on film. $10 donation covers each event.
