What: KAY AUSTEN'S POTTERY DEMONSTRATIONS Kay Austen of Garibaldi Highlands presents a pottery demonstration - with over 100 pounds of clay! There will be time for questions and beginners and experienced potters are both welcome.

What: SPLITZ GRILL - SHELBY PROSSER DAY Splitz Grill is holding a fundraising day for cashier Shelby Prosser, who has been diagnosed with leukemia. On May 4, all proceeds from the day, including staff wages, will go to Shelby to help fight the disease.

What: RAISING CHILDREN IN AN UNBALANCED WORLD Acclaimed author and educator Eugene Schwartz offers Squamish parents a free lecture on how to keep children away from drugs, depression and suicide.

What: FRIENDS OF THE PEMBERTON LIBRARY ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING The Friends of the Pemberton Library host their AGM. All are welcome to come and celebrate the accomplishments of the friends this year.

What: 16TH ANNUAL FATHER DAUGHTER DANCE A father-daughter dance is being put on in support of the Whistler Children's Centre. This is the Centre's biggest fundraiser and a premier children's event. Contact tony@slopesidesupply.com for more details.
