Last weekend’s car wash jamboree was rained-out and has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 8, outside of Kids Kamp at the base of Blackcomb. The wash is by donation and is a benefit for Alpine Access Ability and for burn victim, Derek Foose. Foose is a level two ski instructor who suffered third degree burns to 30 per cent of his body, in an Alpine house fire in February. He is recovering in the burn unit at Vancouver General Hospital. The car wash is from 11 to 3 p.m. and will feature live music performed by Pete Couillard.
