There was no line-up Tuesday, Oct. 5 at municipal hall when the official nomination window for council candidates opened. In fact, as of Wednesday, Oct. 6 there were no nominations at all for either council or mayoral candidates. Municipal elections officer Brenda Sims said the only nominations she had received to date were for the two Whistler school trustee positions. Alix Nicoll and incumbent Andrée Janyk are candidates.
