The Whistler Centre for Sustainability (WCS) is working with GranFondo Canada to review processes around the Whistler event and develop a sustainability plan for the future. To celebrate the partnership, WCS will be giving away two free registrations to this year's sold out event. Over 7,000 riders have already signed on for the 2011 event on Sept. 10, up from 4,500 in 2010.
To enter the draw, email info@whistlercentre.ca with the subject line "RBC GranFondo Whistler," along with a paragraph on the role cycling should play in creating a more sustainable world. The invitation to submit entries closes on Friday, Aug. 12 at 5 p.m.
