Are you a backcountry bard?
The Backcountry Lodges of BC Association (BLBCA) is looking for an experienced backcountry skier or snowboarder with a passion for adventure and a talent for storytelling.
The aim is to find the best story of the out-of-bounds life from the ultimate Backcountry Purist in written word, imagery and on-film.
The winner gets a four-week, fully guided and catered ski/snowboard trip extravaganza to four BLBCA backcountry lodges during the winter of 2013.
Participating lodges include Burnie Glacier Lodge, Icefall Lodge, Mount Carlyle Lodge, and Valkyr Adventures.
The winner will also receive a take home a prize package from G3 including a pair of G3 skis of his/her choice, bindings and climbing skins, an outerwear package from Arcteryx, the chance to share a video and photo rich blog created during his/her four-week powder adventure.
All entries must include:
• A video that is no longer than two minutes
• Five photos
• Your story in less than 10 lines of text per image
The BLBCA is a member-directed association comprised of representatives from nearly 30 privately owned lodge operations located throughout the major mountain ranges of B.C.
