Competitors had cold but sunny conditions for the third Kokanee Valley Race Series giant slalom on Thursday, Jan. 10, with some close races in the perfect race conditions. The course was long, from the top of Grandy Dancer to Cruiser Corner, a vertical drop of 1,026 metres.
The next event in the series is a giant slalom on Lower Franz's on Jan. 24, one of the last tune-up races before the annual Peak to Valley Race on Feb. 1-2.
