The Resort Municipality of Whistler will hold a Gateways, Portals, Connections and Wayfinding Open House on Wednesday, Jan. 21, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Garibaldi Room at the Whistler Conference Centre.

Residents and business owners are invited to ask questions and share input with municipal staff.

"This is one of the most important municipal engagement events we have planned for this year, and I encourage residents and members of the business community, who want to get informed and share their ideas, to attend," said acting Mayor Jack Crompton in a press release.

"The Master Wayfinding, Village Portals, Cultural Connector, and Gateway Loop projects came out of recommendations of the Economic Partnership Initiative Committee. At the open house community members will have a chance to deepen their understanding of the projects, and to provide specific feedback on three design options to shape the redesign of the Gateway (bus) loop."

The open house will include opportunities to review display materials and discuss projects with staff, as well as presentations and a question and answer period.

After the open house, display materials, presentations and an online survey will be posted to the municipal website.
