For the second year in a row, two Whistler hotels have won big at the World Ski Awards (WSA) in Kitzbühel, Austria.
At the event held Nov. 21, the Pan Pacific Whistler was named Canada's Best Ski Hotel, while the Summit Lodge Boutique Hotel earned the honour of Canada's Best Ski Boutique Hotel.
"We are incredibly honoured to have received this prestigious award again," Summit's general manager Tony Medd said in a release.
"Winning this award again has helped affirm our staff of the great service and work they do, and we hope to press on to continue and further push the standards of a great Whistler hotel experience."
This is the second such win for the Summit and the third straight for the Pan Pacific.
The WSA was launched in 2013 with the aim of driving up industry standards by rewarding organizations at the top of their field.
The winners are chosen by people working in the industry, including senior executives, travel buyers, tour operators, agents and skiers themselves.
Twenty-four countries were represented at this year's WSA
