Time is running out for you to recognize Whistler's most excellent.
Nominations for the 2017 Whistler Excellence Awards — celebrating the businesses and people that make Whistler tick — are set to close on Monday, March 6 at midnight.
Nominees must: be located in Whistler; have consented to nomination, publication of their name and be willing to summarize their successes; have not won the award within the past five years; be a Whistler Chamber member in good standing and satisfy the award specific criteria.
Awards include Business Person of the Year, Innovative Business of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, Whistler Experience Service Award (large and small business), Sustainability in Action Business Award, Whistler Champion of Arts and Culture Award, Above and Beyond Award of Excellence and the prestigious Citizen of the Year Award.

This year's event is scheduled for May 11, 2017 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, and will be MC'd once again by local writer and Pique columnist Feet Banks.
