Whistler Secondary School holding 10-year reunion

Ten years ago this June the first Grade 12 class from Whistler Secondary graduated.

School officials and graduates decided that this would be a good time to celebrate all the students who have attended and/or graduated in those 10 years. So, on Saturday, May 5 th the school is holding a reunion, dubbed Celebration 2007 , from 2 to 5 p.m.

Organizers are trying to reach as many ex-students and staff as they can. Aside from hoping to see many alumni in person, the school would like information on what former students have been doing since they graduated.

The school web page has created a special site for the reunion — the easiest way to access it is to Google “wss reunion”.

Organizers would also appreciate it if anyone in touch with ex-WSS students would pass on the information, and encourage them to either register (so they know how many are coming), or to update the school on their career paths.

Organizers know that students have gone many different directions over the years — traveling, studying, working. The reunion is an opportunity for everyone to share in those successes!

Registration will begin at 2 p.m. Rooms will be set aside in which the various years may meet. Pictures and information on those who respond but cannot come will be posted. Many staff, present and past, will be there and there will be refreshments.
