A Timely Reminder for Tuned Women

If the first round of auditions are anything to go by, this April’s Tuned Women evening is going to be one eye-opening showcase of fine female acoustic talent, and if you’re interested in being involved, you still need to audition.

If the first round of auditions are anything to go by, this April’s Tuned Women evening is going to be one eye-opening showcase of fine female acoustic talent, and if you’re interested in being involved, you still need to audition. If you’re a sista who can sing, get yourself down to MY Place this Sunday, March 30 or better still, call one of the organizers, Gillie Easdon, to book a time slot. Easdon and fellow singing and songwriting co-host, Tessa McLoughlin, will be holding auditions from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. More intimate than open mic night, more interactive than a pub gig, Tuned Women promises to offer an unplugged session for players and fans of acoustic originals to get together. Performers will be able to explain the stories behind their lyrics, jam with fellow artists and meet the people who care at the big event April 25.
