Alta Lake hosting tour 

Sunday, 1 p.m.

The Waldorf Alta Lake School will be hosting a tour and talk session on Sunday April 30 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the school in Spruce Grove Park.

Titled Education for the New Millennium the tour will be a chance to view the children’s work, meet teachers and attend a discussion with teachers, parents and Waldorf graduates. Learn how Waldorf education is relevant for today.

Refreshments will be served and children are welcome.

As well, a Children’s May Fair will be held at Spruce Grove Park on Sunday, May 7 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Children of all ages are invited to participate in this annual celebration of the arrival of spring by making seasonal crafts, carving wood, visiting the forest fairy and of course having a dance around the May pole! Hot lunch will be served all day.
