And now for something completely different...

Those with tastes that run more toward tattoos and whiskey than flowers and champagne are in luck this Valentine’s Day.

A crew of local underground artists are staging Be Mine or Die, a one-night art show that promises to be the perfect antidote to gooey, lovey-dovey traditional Valentine schlock.

Be Mine or Die will feature Valentine-themed works by Black Ohm Tattoo owner Robin Dutcher, Dave "Pepe" Petko, Justin Ormiston and Scott Johnston, as well as music by Brandon Burke and Wes Makepeace.

The show takes place at the Southside Diner in Creekside on Sunday, Feb. 13 from 8 p.m. to midnight.
