Annual Longhorn Texas Scramble tees off for B.C. Burn Fund

Spaces are still available for the 6 th Annual Longhorn Texas Scramble and Calcutta, which takes place on Wednesday, May 26 at the Whistler Golf Course. The entry fee of $135 includes the green fee, golf cart, appetizers on Tuesday night and a steak dinner on Wednesday night. Everyone will leave with at least one prize, but with a chance to win from more than $25,000 in cash and draw prizes.

All of the proceeds from the event will go towards the B.C. Professional Fire Fighters Burn Fund. The fund helps families and individuals injured by fires, and sponsors a camp in Squamish every year for victims.

The first 100 players to register for the tournament will receive a golf rain shell.

You can drop by the Longhorn Saloon to pick up an entry form, or call 604-932-5999 and ask to speak to a manager.
