Local naturalists of the night John Nemy and Carol Legate are bringing the wonders of the dark sky to the big screen at Millennium Place Nov. 30.

In a multiple slide projector presentation, Nemy and Legate will share their images taken from around the world over the past six years.

The evening will be divided into three shows. The first one, Splendours of the Night Sky, explores the best of the night sky from Whistler and around the world. Moonshadow Over Mondsee explores the sights and sounds of the European Solar Eclipse of 1999, and Polar Light delves into the Northern Lights from across Canada.

There will also be recorded and live music specially written for the evening.

The show begins at 7:30 p.m. and runs to 9 p.m. at Millennium Place on Nov. 30. Tickets are $9.95 at Ticketmaster. For more information call The Pacific Observatory at 604-938-8090.
