Comedy night
Three internationally acclaimed comedians are cracking jokes for Comedy Night Feb. 23 and 24 at 8 p.m. at the Garibaldi Lift Company (GLC) to raise funds for the Whistler Adaptive Sports Program (WASP).
Mike "Black Jack" Wilson, a vocal gymnast who has performed more than 700 impressions around the world will be joined by Bobby Badfingers, the fastest snapper in town, and Charlie Viracola, who has shared stages with the likes of Jerry Seinfeld and Tim Allen. Local funnyman Pete Crutchfield, a 2006 Paralympian, will also take the stage as the "Quadfather of Comedy".
Tickets are $20. Doors 7:30 p.m.
Community Now
From the just graduated to 20-somethings, Whistlerites will share their community stories as part of the Whistler Museum and Archives Community Now: Year Two documentary, which premieres Thursday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. at MY Millennium Place.
This years 25-film focuses on Whistlers youth from ages 18 to 30, the second of four films leading up to 2010. Last years film focused on the senior demographic, and the last two films will present the stories of adults and children. The four short films will be edited into a full-length film screened at an Olympic gala reception.

Natural cancellation
Every year, the Whistler Naturalists host a photography slide-show presentation of local photographers works as part of Celebration 2010 festivities.
Despite funding in place for this years event, organizers cancelled this years show because there were too few photo submissions.
Film Night
Whistler Film Night VIII showcases local short films on the big screen Friday, March 3 at Rainbow Theatre.
The evening includes both films and interviews with the filmmakers which will later be aired on Whistler Cable 6.

Olympic winning snow sculpture
The Canadian Snow Sculpture Team, who recently one gold at the Torino Olympic Games Festival of Culture and Arts, will complete their snowy masterpiece on Whistler Mountain near the Roundhouse Lodge Friday, Feb. 24.
