North Shore Mountain Biking is hosting a charity auction for Blair Jones of Kamloops, who sustained a spinal cord injury while riding last season. Friends hope to raise $10,000 for a four-wheel downhill chair to get him back on the trails.

If they raise more than that, the balance will go towards Tarek Rasouli, a German rider who had a similar injury riding in B.C. last summer.

The online auction got underway on July 7 and will run until July 22 at North Shore Mountain Biking. If you wish to bid on an item, visit www.nsmb.com/auction/.

If you have an item to donate to the auction, contact Sean at sean@nsmb.com.

Among the items up for bids are bike frames, a full bike, assorted components, clothing and bike gear. There are more than 63 items up for bid.
