Award recognizes community contributions

The B.C. Community Achievement Awards want to hear who's making a difference in your community in the areas of arts and culture, multiculturism, sports and recreation, the environment, civic duty, and youth and senior leadership.

An independent advisory council of community leaders from across B.C. will review the nominations and select recipients for the 2004 Community Achievement Awards. Up to 30 recipients will be recognized by Premier Gordon Campbell this year.

The deadline for submissions is Jan. 30, 2004.

To nominate someone, visit www.bcachievement.com or call 1-866-882-6088.
