Artists are invited to submit their applications to be part of Whistler’s biggest artisan extravaganza, Bizarre Bazaar, Dec. 1 and 2 at the Telus Conference Centre.
The application deadline for the 2006 original artisan market is Friday, Aug. 11.
The market showcases handmade original works from artists in the Sea to Sky corridor.
The showcase runs the full gamut, including jewelry, bath and body products, ceramics, clothing, preserves, fine art, wood and glass products, candles, Christmas decorations, food and anything else a Christmas shopper might want to take home with them.
All items for sale must be locally handmade. Entries will be determined by quality, originality, variety and price range. Space is limited.
Applications are available at www.whistlerartscouncil.com. Applications must be received by the Friday at 4 p.m. in order to be considered.
