Prince George’s Fredrick Greene has won the lottery twice in four years.

Some would argue the chances of winning the lottery twice in your lifetime are really, really low.

But that’s exactly what happened to Prince George’s Fredrick Greene. He struck it rich playing the Extra in the Sept. 14 Lotto Max draw, and won $500,000. That follows his 2014 win of $249,000, which he pocketed after playing Lotto 6/49.

“I’m still a little shocked when I think about it, but I feel grateful,” Greene said in a press release.

At first, he didn’t believe his eyes. His wife questioned if the ticket was real, asking if he could scan it again.

As for what Greene plans to do with his winnings, a few things come to mind. He plans to take a vacation to Costa Rica and enjoy the things he loves, including hiking and camping.

The winning ticket was sold at the Walmart Supercentre in Prince George.
