BC Transit surveying Pemberton residents

Transit authority wants to know residents' thoughts on late night transit service

BC Transit wants to hear from you about the future of transit in Pemberton.

An online survey solicits feedback as to the future of valley transit, as well as transport between Pemberton and Whistler. Feedback from the survey will be sent both to the Crown Corporation and to the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District.

Among other things, the survey asks respondents how often they expect to use Pemberton's late night transit service, which runs from August 12 to September 11. The service allows late night service between Pemberton and Whistler. The commuter leaves Whistler at 11:10 p.m. and arrives in Pemberton at 11:47 p.m.

If you're going back to Whistler, you can leave from the Pemberton Hotel at 11:50 p.m. and arrive back at Whistler's Gondola Transit Exchange at 12:27 a.m.

The survey asks about the situations in which you would use the service, as well as which times transit riders wish to leave Pemberton to travel to Whistler in the morning.
