Bill’s hosts Punk’d star Rob Pue

Buffalo Bill’s has organized a special Thursday edition of its weekly Comedy Night in order to host up-and-coming Canadian comedian Rob Pue.

Who: Rob Pue

Where: Buffalo Bill’s

When: Thursday, Aug. 26

Winner of the 2003 San Francisco International Stand-Up Comedy Competition and co-star of MTV’s Punk’d, Pue is known for his relaxed, confident stage presence and quick wit.

After his win in San Francisco reviewers compared 26-year-old Pue’s "undeniable charisma" to that of Robin Williams, minus the hyperactivity. Pue’s subjects in the San Francisco competition – always embellished with elaborate sound effects – ranged from the plight of Canada’s military to how he would win Survivor.

Outside the stand-up circuit, Pue is most well known for his recent role in MTV’s last season of Punk’d, a celebrity version of Candid Camera hosted by Ashton Kucher.

Pue takes the stage at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 26 at Buffalo Bill’s. Doors open at 8 p.m.
