Christmas gift ideas should not be a problem for those attending this years original craft fair, Bizarre Bazaar. More than 70 artists, crafties and other creative types will be showcasing and selling their wares.
Therell be jewelry, clothes, bath products, wood, stone, ceramics, pottery, Christmas decorations, glass, metal, furnishings and visual art. All the sellers are from the Sea to Sky corridor, the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island.
The price range should suit even the thriftiest scrooge with gifts from $2 to $500.
Founded in 1988 by the Whistler Community Arts Council, the Bizarre Bazaar has grown every years since and is now one of the arts councils primary fundraisers.
"Its an on-going success with local residents as well as visitors," says Doti Niedermayer, president of the arts council. "Its the perfect opportunity for residents to have access to unique products not normally found in Whistler. It is also an opportunity for visitors to see local hand-made crafts unavailable in stores," she said.
Admission is by donation.
