British power pop is back

New wave's Sessions in town

The Sessions amalgamate their British rock and ’80s new wave dance onto one stage on Friday, Feb. 23 at 9 p.m. at the Garibaldi Lift Company.

The Vancouver troupe won the Emergenza Music Festival last year, beating out 7,631 bands with their high-octane show and retro sound.

The band is currently gearing up to step into the recording studio this January with luminary producer Bob Rock, of The Cult, Bon Jovi and Metallica fame.

Advance $12 tickets are available at Evolution, the Hub Creekside and GLC.
