Cancer society selling daffodils

I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o’er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host of golden daffodils; — William Wordsworth.

I wandered lonely as a cloud

That floats on high o’er vales and hills,

When all at once I saw a crowd,

A host of golden daffodils;

Soon bunches of golden daffodils will grace the sidewalks of Whistler as the Canadian Cancer Society hosts its annual flower sale to raise funds.

This year the blooms will be on sale on March 26 and 27.

You can even buy the bunches in bulk and give them away your self. A box with 50 bunches – 10 flowers each – is on sale for $200 including GST and delivery. For more information call Rachel at 604-253-8470. The deadline for ordering is Feb.27.

Volunteers are also needed to help with Daffodil Days in Whistler. For more information contact Jacki or Rebecca at 604 905 0504.
