Interfaith Chapel update There can be few more beautiful locations in the world for a wedding than right here in Whistler. Surrounded by the spectacular backdrop of the Coast Mountains, it is hardly surprising that Whistler has proved a magnet for wedding groups from all over the world. However, couples are currently presented with few options for a wedding venue in Whistler, especially if they desire a religious ceremony. They must choose a hotel, an outdoor location or the limited capacity of the Skier’s Chapel. This dilemma will be eased with the proposed Interfaith Chapel and Meeting Place. The new building will include kitchen facilities and it is hoped there will be room for receptions, in addition to an outdoor patio area. And of course the central location in the village is ideal. One more way for the Interfaith Chapel to meet the needs of locals and visitors alike. Whistler’s Community Millennium Project
