Interfaith Chapel update In the early days Whistler did have, and still has, a spiritual meeting place in the Skiers Chapel, a modest A-frame building that has done sterling service for many years. But gradually something began to change. The community grew and matured... more children were born to Whistler residents and more young families moved here. Our outstanding natural assets created exponential growth in terms of visitors, and locals and visitors alike began to question Whistler’s lack of a central, inter-denominational place of worship. Suddenly the Skiers Chapel seemed sadly insufficient. What could be done? Whistler’s Community Millennium Project
