Chateau Gallery celebrating work of Vest & Heine

The Gallery at Fairmont Chateau Whistler launches an exhibition of works by western Canadian painters Jim Vest and Jerry Heine this week.

Both Heine and Vest are renowned for striking mountain landscapes.

The gallery will host an opening reception for the exhibition, titled ‘Journey to the Falls’ on Saturday, Jan. 22 from 7 to 10 p.m. The reception is open to the public.

Makarewicz show extended

The Viseye Photo Gallery is holding onto Bonny Makarewicz. The acclaimed local photojournalist’s show has been held over for two extra weeks.

The gallery showcases the works of local photographers on the walls of BBK’s Pub in the Upper Village. Viseye curators will introduce a new show of works by Rich Duncan in early February.
