Chefs sharpen their knifes

Soup contest this Sunday in upper village

Seinfeld had the “Soup Nazi”, but Whistler has the annual Harvest Soup Contest which features chefs that are likewise passionate about their creations.

The Harvest Soup Contest takes place at the last Upper Village Farmers’ Market of the season, this Sunday, Oct. 8, and features a selection of soups from Whistler’s top chefs. People are invited to come between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., make a donation to Alta Lake School, and sample all of the creations before voting for their favourite concoction.

Soup fans are reminded to be there early, as the soup is only available until the chefs run out.
