MALVOLIO; SCENES FROM TWELFTH NIGHT — This dinner theatre presentation with musical direction from Brad Sherry rewrites Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night with focus on Malvolio, the loftier than thou servant at the household of Olivia. CRASH — The jazzy sextet led by alto saxophonist Cory Weeds funks up your Christmas season with instrumental jazz inspired by ’70s acid jazz masters. At Maurice Young Millennium Place Dec. 21 and 22 at 8 p.m. For information call 604-935-8410.

HOLIDAY CONCERT — Moving Chords Youth Show Choir from Myrtle Phillip school perform holiday music. The Whistler Singers, an adult community choir, and Colours on Key, a multi-part harmony women’s chorus, also join in the singing fun at Maurice Young Millennium Place, 3 p.m.-5 p.m. For more information call Sadie at 604-932-4908 or 604-935-8410.

CAROLING — The Moving Chords Youth Show Choir, Whistler Singers and Colours on Key perform carols and Christmas music during a walk through the village. The singing starts at the Delta Whistler Resort at 7:30 p.m. and wraps up at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler at 9 p.m.

SUNDAY, DEC. 23

THE NATIVITY IN DRAMA, WORDS, AND SONG — The Whistler Village Church presents the story of Jesus’ birth at Maurice Young Millennium Place Sunday, Dec. 23 at 2 p.m. Audience members will be invited to sing some favourite Christmas carols. MONDAY, DEC. 24

CHRISTMAS EVE CAROL SERVICE — The Whistler Children’s Chorus invites everyone to the 19th annual carol service at the Whistler Conference Centre. Readers come from a diverse cross-section from the community sharing a common spirit of participation. The organizers emphasize this is a carol service, not a concert, so get those wind pipes ready after a day at the hill. 6:30 p.m. For more information ring the bells at 604-932-2979.
