Tour group travel into town for info session Contiki tours are setting up shop in Merlin's on Tuesday, Feb. 17, in association with Roseway Travel, to entice Whistlerites to travel with them. The tour group provides all kinds of holidays for 18-35 year olds. So if you’re heading over the hill you can still make one last grab at your youth and travel with a party. Sue Roth, who was a Contiki representative in Europe for three years, will be on hand to present a 30-minute video, answer questions and fuel wanderlust. Travel staff will be handing out $50 gift certificates towards getting bitten by the bug and buying a Contiki holiday during their two week promo Feb. 14-28. There will also be door prizes to draw you in, from Roseway Travel and Contiki. The tour group specializes in providing an alternative to travelling on your own. "We help to create the most safe, hassle-free and economic way to see exciting destinations such as the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Holland, Australia and New Zealand," says their release. "Clients get to mingle with people from all over the world, with their tour mates, and with locals in the countries they visit."
