Canadian broadcaster CTV has ordered "Whistler," a brand new 13-part primetime drama series, for its 2005/06 season.
Set right here in lil’ old Whistler, the series is described by the network as "an action-packed ride through the politics, especially the personal ones, of a high-end resort town, where family and interpersonal pressures are ready to blow sky high following the death of the mountain’s most talented racer."
The series will be produced by Boardwatch Productions and Blueprint Entertainment, a company that maintains a Vancouver office, and most likely filmed in the Lower Mainland with "establishing shots" from Whistler.
The series is currently waiting for funding from the network and is yet to be cast.
