Titled Past, Present & Future , the show features everything from classic ballet, to disco jazz, to groovy ’60s go-go dancing, to modern hip-hop.
It’s the first year in the director’s chair for Dance Academy artistic director Codi Dalen, who along with her talented teaching crew, wrote and choreographed the entire performance.
The dancers range in age from the adorable doe-eyed three-year-olds mincing around like kittens to the Disney soundtrack classic We Are Siamese , through the talented teens, to the group of funky moms performing a hip-hop number worthy of the latest Missy Elliot video.
