Whistler RCMP seized a sizable amount of drugs after a routine traffic stop Tuesday night.
Two occupants of a vehicle were found with 1.3 pounds of marijuana, 1.31 pounds of magic mushrooms, 21 Ecstasy tablets and a large sum of cash.
A 21-year old Burnaby female and a 29-year-old Burnaby male were arrested for possession for the purposes of trafficking. They have been released on a promise to appear in North Vancouver Provincial Court on Aug 9, 2006.
The names of the accused cannot be released pending charges being laid.
