Spaces are still available for the eighth annual Dual Mountain Rally, presented by B.C. Rehab. The proceeds from this event go towards the Whistler Adaptive Ski Program.

The theme for this year’s event is Fiesta, with Mexican themes for the event and the post-rally party. There is even a chance for participants to win a trip for two to Mexico.

The event takes on Saturday, April 3, starting with a buffet breakfast at the Westin Resort and Spa.

After breakfast, teams of four will be matched up with elite ski and snowboard athletes, who will serve as the group’s strategy coach. There will be a lunch on the mountain, followed by an awards dinner at the Westin Resort and Spa. There are awards for the top teams, draw prizes, and other bonuses for participants.

The Rally is not a race, but rather a group challenge as participants travel to 24 different checkpoints around Whistler and Blackcomb taking team photos and solving different riddles along the way.

The cost for each participant is a donation $250, or $1,000 for a team, and pledge forms and registration forms are available online at www.bcrehab.com. Tax receipts will be offered for pledges of $25 or more.

The money includes lift tickets for the day, all of your meals, your elite athlete chaperone, and tickets to the gala awards ceremony where you will have a chance to win awards and prizes.
