Ear Candy

With Suzanne Wilson

Singer/guitar-slinger, Realtor, Tuned Woman and Cherrybombshell.

My top five albums right now:

1. Let There Be Morning – The Perishers

"This is a Swedish band that is very Coldplay-like. Chill music with great melodies, the kind of music you can wake up or go to bed to. Love it."

2. Women Like a Man or O – Damien Rice

"This Irish singer doesn't fall into the North American pursuit of trying to be perfect. He is as real and as passionate as they come."

3. American Idiot – Green Day

"This album made it into my CD changer because of the track Boulevard of Broken Dreams. Nice to see a band with enough notoriety and success that they can record the kind of music that they want."

4. White People – Handsome Boy Modeling School

"A hip-hop album that was just recommended to me featuring various artists like Jack Johnson and De La Soul. It’s fresh and different. I need to listen to it a few more times."

5. Mix – Various Artists

"I always have a mix CD of my old favourites. It changes all the time but right now it is: David Gray, Dido, Holly McNarland, Lucinda Williams, Cake, Jack Johnson, INXS (Never Tear Us Apart), Robbie Williams (Feel), Sarah McLachlan (Blackbird), the Be Good Tanyas (Littlest Birds), The Verve (The Drugs Don't Work), Sinead O'Connor (Black Boys on Mopeds, Emperor's New Clothes), Cat Stevens, Neil Young, Counting Crows.... I could go on."

Last Words:

"For all you people out there who have expressed to me that their dream is to be able to play the guitar better, or at all, do it! Because you can.
