1. Gwen Stefani
"I love her because of her stage presence, personality, and good-looking-ness. The style that she has is way cool. Gwen Stefani makes a great role model for having fun."
2. Bob Marley
"Inspirational, political, romantic."
3. Elvis Presley
"Influenced me and many other people to have a good time on stage no matter how you are feeling. My folks loved him and so do I, with his charisma, banana cream pie diets and his way of making music for everyone – and because his moves were illegal back in the ’50s."
4. Wil Smith
"When I was 14, I went to the DJ Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince concert at the Commodore in Vancouver and only 50 people showed up. I thought Wil Smith wasn't going to perform as well as if he had 20,000 people cheering him on in Philly. I thought wrong because he was awesome – dancing and shaking everyone's hand throughout the whole show. What a professional! I knew he would be successful."
5. Neil Diamond
"Every time I play Sweet Caroline at the end of the night it always lingers on and in karaoke the whole crowd gets into it and it makes people smile. I haven't seen him in person but Nearly Neil is a great substitute for the real thing."

It's sad to see that businesses that support our eclectic taste in music can't survive (Whistler Music, Bestsellers) considering how many great live shows come to Whistler.
