Get wet(land) Whistler students are going to get a lesson in life next week as the Travelling Wetlands Roadshow rolls into town for a three-day stop. Presented by the Friends of Boundary Bay and Fraser for Life the event will kick off Sunday afternoon from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Myrtle Philip Community School. The public is invited to check out the mobile ecology centre through interpretative walks and presentations in the eco-theatre. On Monday and Tuesday, students and teachers from Myrtle Philip will work with Friends of Boundary Bay naturalists, conducting field trips into local wetlands ecosystems and doing some water quality monitoring.
